Quick post

Hey all... I don't have my journal with me so I cant put any new updates on the stories I've written down, but 2 quick things

1) Threads
I finally got some African shirts made! I'll post pictures as soon as I can but its pretty effin sweet.

2)Hello strangers not-yet-friends!
I have heard from many current trainees that I have some regulars reading my blog who I do not know. Elyse's grandma, Georgette's family... any others?

I'd love to hear from you all as well. How did you find my blog? Who do you know in Peace Corps? Any questions, any concerns? Want me to deliver an enthusiastic hug to your loved one overseas ;)

*Please limit one hug per household

Write on my message board at the bottom of this page and introduce yourself, I'd love to hear from you as well!

  1. Well, I see no one posts comments to your blog, so I will. Yes, I'm Elyse's Aunt - Favorite Aunt. I really enjoy reading your posts and am experiencing Africa through you. Keep up the writing, you are entertaining and I will most likely be a loyal follower. I found you, just by luck, as you met Elyse and then blogged about it, so, I just have to see where you would end up. Thanks for that one hug - now, if I can only figure out how to pass it around my entire household - not to worry - I'm imaginative....

    Best Regards...

  2. Hi from Elyse's Grandma Millie. Give her a hug from me. Found you on Elyse's blog on her profile as a blog follower. Love all your info about Ghana and experiences. Great pictures but you need more close ups. Couldn't find Elyse in the group pics. Also read all the journals from your group. Sounds like a great group, and your having great experiences. Keep up the good work. Stay well!!

  3. Hi, I'm Elyse's mom. I started reading your blogs and enjoy your stories. Remember it is better to get to where you are going even if you arrive late. It is native time. Children don't need spankings. So if you ever blog that you are spanking children as a school teacher, you are losing it! Besides you are the man with the plan! Stay fun. Looking forward to future journal entries. Watch out on too many hugs. This is the mother!
